We look forward to your support in 2006! An additional thanks to all who participated in the table quiz fund raiser held in Birchalls last month.

The festival ran over 4 days (29th Sept to 2nd Oct) and the organisers would like to sincerely thank all those involved and those who supported what has been a memorable first festival for Ranelagh.

Welcome to the first annual Ranelagh Arts Festival! The aim of the Festival is to reinvigorate the village and community atmosphere traditionally associated with Ranelagh.

A group of Ranelagh residents have come together to deliver an innovative and inclusive arts festival for the local community from 29th September to 2nd October 2005. The objective is to establish an annual arts festival for the people of the village and beyond.

The aspiration of the committee was to create a diverse programme with something for everyone. The programme features local artists and musicians, performances by children from the area, poetry, plays and film, as well as internationally recognised artists.

The Festival works in partnership with many creative individuals and we would like to acknowledge and thank everyone for their invaluable contribution.

The Festival would not have happened without the generous support of many local businesses and the dedication of all those on the committee.

The committee hopes you enjoy the first year's programme and wish all of our visitors a fantastic Festival weekend.
