Roesy hails from Birr, Co Offaly. From singing along to his father’s records, he moved on to writing lyrics, which soon turned into songs when he taught himself the guitar. Like many teenagers, music became a passion for Roesy, but for him, it’s a passion that supported by has grown and developed over the years.

Bree Harris has worked on the Dublin circuit for some time. She's in great demand at many of the blues and arts festivals around the country. Known as one of the finest blues and soul singers, she has delighted audiences with her renditions of the music of Tony Joe White, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, and Bonnie Raitt. With her powerful voice, exuding raw energy and emotion, accompanied by some of Ireland’s finest, this is a performance not to be missed.

As an artist, Sari often shifts between two worlds - from two dimensional to three dimensional and vice versa. He paints and sculpts often mixing the boundaries of the two mediums. Many of his assemblages include familiar elements, such as bicycle parts, which are used in a witty way.
Playfulness and humour, as well as deeper meanings, belong as an essential part of Sari’s art.
Sari has exhibited since 1977 and has had numerous exhibitions all over Europe. His works are included in several collections such as State Painting & Sculputure Museum Ankara-Turkey, Waino Aaltonon Museum - Finland and private collections.
Suleima Rintala is a Finnish artist living in Ranelagh since 1998. This is her second Dublin exhibition, entitled 'Access'.
Her new collection of paintings is brilliantly multicoloured. The paintings depict dreamy landscapes in a subtle abstract style.
A play based on the number 18 Tram
First come first served basis, no tickets available.
Continued ->
Thirty years earlier in The Octodeciad, Carolan presented us with the reverse of this when the 18 tram jumped its tracks at Belgrave Square and carried its screaming passengers and crew into the dreadful publess wastes of Palmerston, never to be seen alive again.
Through the eyes of Rathgar Man, exploring Ranelagh for the first time, we learn of the events leading to the gathering of a few brave men and their final battle with the forces of evil in the demon tram and the monsters who rode in it.
