Abstract and Almost will feature paintings and sculptures taken from small, but unique private collections, with a bias towards Irish abstraction. The exhibition includes Tony O'Malley, Sean Scully, John Noel Smith, Michael Warren, Cecil King, Brian Henderson, Colin Harrison, Zita Reihill and Pam Harris, whose painting is featured on the right. More than 30 artists will be included, with works collected from the early 1960s to the present day, in a variety of mediums. Several pieces in the exhibition have being generously loaned by Imelda Collins of the Sandford Gallery.

Blue Loft presents Angles on Ranelagh, an exhibition of Ranelagh-inspired work created especially for the Festival. Artists will include Bartoz Kolata, Louise Leonard, Padraig McCaul, Ann Murphy, Carole Pollard, Barbara Sullivan and Katarzyna Tuzel-Nabzdyk.
