The Open Day will begin with a parade from Scoil Bhríde to Ranelagh Gardens by children from four National Schools, headed by the Mad Hatters. The children will perform a junk art percussion ensemble. The event will also feature Conor Lambert's Puppet Show, Capuara, the Independent Theatre Workshop and the Dance Theatre of Ireland.
Throughout the day, A Taste of Ranelagh will showcase a selection of the talented chefs and restaurants within the village. Sample-sized signature dishes from a select number of Ranelagh's best-known restaurants will be available.

Roving dancers and musicians, tumbling blocks, human architecture, vanishing structures -it's a BLOCK PARTY! This Colourful Outdoor spectacle unfolds in Dublin City Centre, a movable feast for the eyes and the senses, for the adult and the child (in you). Merging the worlds of dance, music and architecture, this Outdoor Spectacle will immerse you in a vibrant world of colour and play, set to explosive percussion & music played live by Robbie Harris and Friends. Dance Theatre of Ireland perform within a design more clever than a Rubik's cube on pointe, with the dancers constructing and restructuring the giant-sized Blocks before your very eyes. Full of zest, colour, mystery, imagination and fun. Don't miss it!
