Novelist, poet, biographer and chronicler of literary Dublin in the 1950s and '60s, Anthony Cronin is the most protean of Irish men of letters and a resident of Ranelagh. He is a founder member of Aosdana.
Colm Tobin is the well-known Irish author of The Blackwater Lightship, South and The Master, which won the IMPAC Literary Award in 2006.
The event will also feature a musical interlude by harpist Áine Ní Dhubhaill and singer Mary Stokes.

Hosted by Anne Haverty, this year's Speakeasy will take place in the popular local restaurant 'Eatery 120', suited to reading and listening to poetry. Louise Callaghan, Tony Gilmore and other local poets will take part in the event.
