Featuring Ciarán Tourish and the Ranelagh Céilí Band, with special guest Maura O'Connell and a host of other brilliant musicians.

GREEN JAMBALAYA: ROCK 'N ROLL BALL

Featuring John Keogh, Keith Donald, Anto Drennan, Bobby Kelly, the Keoghettes, James Delaney, Brian Rickeby, Bernard Barrett and Brian Lynch.

VIVALDI'S GLORIA BY THE CULLENSWOOD SINGERS

Date: Saturday, 29 September
Place: Sandford Parish Church
Time: 8pm
Tickets: €15/€10 (students, unwaged and OAPs)
The 36-strong choir will perform Vivaldi's Gloria in D major, RV589, accompanied on organ by Charles Pearson. The event will also feature The Dublin Viols.

THE DUBLIN VIOLS (Andrew Robinson, Director, Jenny Robinson, Laoise O’Brien, Lucy Robinson, Anne Robinson, Honor O Brolchain) was formed in 1980 as an offshoot of The Consort of St Sepulchre, which specialised in Medieval and Renaissance music. Both groups performed all over Ireland and Europe and recorded for BBC and RTE radio and television. The Consort of St. Sepulchre also recorded for EMI and The Dublin Viols with Dead Can Dance.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS and ROCK FEST

Local teenage bands will compete on an open-air stage for top prizes in the Battle of the Bands.

Featuring the Mad Hatters, Conor Lambert's Puppet Show, Capuara, the Independent Theatre Workshop and the Dance Theatre of Ireland.
